A great start to the week for Import Racing with Dalgarno saluting at Port Macquarie in the STEPHEN COOK MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP (1512 METRES).
He appreciated getting back onto firmer footing and being ridden quietly by apprentice Dylan Gibbons, who also made sure to give him plenty of running room down the outside as per Nathan Doyle’s pre-race instructions.
It was win number 2 from 3 starts since Dalgarno has moved to Nathan’s stable and there still looks to be good improvement to come.
We look forward to hopefully continuing our winning run with Bak Da Man tomorrow at Newcastle in race 5, and of course Gunstock in the big dance at Flemington on Saturday, the Group 1 $2million VRC Derby!
